With this extension, you can view a seekbar for videos on Instagram's website. Moreover, this extension provides good support for Instagram stories (mentions & links).

( After installation, when you log in to Instagram, you will see a seekbar at the bottom of the screen. )

You can view the video seekbar at the bottom of the Instagram website.
To fast forward or rewind the video, simply click anywhere on the seek bar.

At first, I thought it didn't do anything. But I realized later that the seekbar is at the very bottom of the whole page - I was expecting it to see it at the bottom of the video itself, as is commonly done (e.g. YouTube). But yeah, it does work, just a weird UI.
