As an Engineering/Physics student I really love this extension. Saves me time when writing papers and speaking with other students about equations. One addition I would like to see added are the two symbols for "less than or equal" to and "greater than or equal to": ≤, ≥ | |

How this thing operates, is you first type a backslash (\), then start typing the name of the symbol you want to insert. While you're typing, a list of available math symbols that match what you're typing, will appear underneath your input box. You then click on the one you want, to insert it. Also, you can type an up arrow (^) before a number, then a space after the number, to convert it to superscript, and a _ before a number to make it subscript. Alternately, you can just scroll down the list of available symbols and click to insert it. It could probably be more intuitive, but if you understand these basics, it works fine. | |
