What is Mute Button for Google Plus?

Mute Button for Google Plus is a Chrome extension that adds a mute button to posts in Google Plus, allowing users to easily mute and hide content. It also includes a hide button to temporarily erase the contents of a post. The extension was updated in 2012 to show the buttons in the circle's stream and in 2011 to accommodate G+ changes.

Just what i needed. Very useful.

Works for the posts that loads first. Posts loaded later as you scroll do not get a hide and mute button. Suggestions for improvement: Keyboard shortcuts and option to automatically mute as the bottom of the post scrolls off the top of the page. (Like Google Reader's read feature.)
