The extension watches only youtube.com and automatically skips or hides video ads the moment they appear. A tiny counter shows how many ads it has skipped for you. Toggle it on or off anytime from the toolbar popup.

YouTube changes how it serves ads often, and sometimes a change will temporarily break ad-skipping until this extension is updated. When that happens, I fix it as fast as I can — usually within a few days. This is a free, one-person open-source project, and I'd rather be upfront than over-promise.
