I am NOT bipolar.
I HAVE bipolar disorder.
This is a disease the same way cancer is a disease. You would not say to someone with cancer: "You are cancer."
So please don't say people WITH bipolar disorder ARE bipolar. It hurts us and makes you appear ignorant.
