The Compound Interest and Finance application works with compound interest, that is, interest on interest. This is the way the market uses it today and it can be very good for you – if you are investing – or very bad – like in installments and loans. This way of calculating interest is difficult to do manually, so we make these operations easier, helping you to better control your finances through the following processes:

Fixed Income and Variable Income – all financial investments are divided into just two basic groups: Fixed Income – CDB, RDB, LCA, LCI, Savings, Treasury Direct, etc. – where you basically lend your money to a bank or the government and receive income; and Variable Income – shares, real estate, etc. – here you are investing directly in a business, becoming a kind of partner, potentially having large gains or even losses. This application allows you to calculate these monetary values and the different percentages of these results – daily, monthly, annual rates – enabling better investment guidance. We have 4 modules here: Fixed Income, Fixed Income with Contributions, Variable Income – this module is particularly interesting and we consider it one of the differentiators of this Application – and Equivalent Compound Interest, which allows you to compare these interests in relation to different periods of time. If you wish, you can also enter a custom deadline.

Installment interest calculations – consider the following example: if you take out a loan or make a purchase worth R$10,000.00 to pay in 12 monthly installments of R$1,000.00, the final value will be R$12,000, 00 – R$2,000.00 in interest. However, you will not be paying 20% interest per year. This would only happen if you paid everything at the end of a year. But, as you start paying one month after the negotiation, the interest rates are much higher: 41.299% per year. Once you know how much you're really paying, you'll be able to better decide how to make your purchases. It can also be used to compare the cost of two or more loans with different amounts and terms.

We also have three Date Calculator modules: Interval between Dates, which allows you to calculate the interval between two dates in calendar days and also in year/month/day format. It also shows working days (without Saturdays and Sundays), Add or Subtract periods to a given date and Calculations with your Birthday Date.

And finally, a big difference: Database using Room-SQLite technology, which allows you to save the calculations you want for comparisons, analyzes and queries.
