Mini Morfi is a whimsical universe with lots of opportunities to play mathematics. In Mini Morfi you can play with shapes, sizes, numbers and patterns when you visit the many shops and places in the city. But most of all, Mini Morfi is an app with space for free play, where you can explore and play at your own pace. You can e.g. put the cute biscuit animals to bed in Bibi's Pet Shop. Here you have to keep an eye on the geometric shapes. When you build cars at Molly and Polly's you have to keep an eye on the sizes, and at Alfie's Planteskole you make beautiful patterns on the trees. You get the animals, cars and trees on the map of the city of Mini Morfi, so you can continue playing here.

MATHEMATICAL ATTENTION
Mini Morfi focuses on mathematical attention. Mathematical attention is the initial focus on mathematical concepts such as numbers and counting, shapes, patterns and measurement. You can strengthen children's mathematical attention by focusing on mathematics in different situations in children's everyday life. In this way, children's mathematical understanding increases. In Mini Morfi, you will recognize many things from everyday life: e.g. the cars are made of popsicle sticks, the trees are decorated with pasta and the cute animals are made of biscuits. Using everyday objects in the app supports the idea of mathematical awareness. It's about noticing the mathematics in everything around you. The Mini Morfi app is complemented by a website minimorfi.dk, where you, based on the Mini Morfi universe, can find fun ideas for creative activities with children.
