en I only use the Chromebook Recovery Utility to install Chrome OS Flex into my old laptops. The extension had done the task properly a few years ago, and I could remove the OS image to reuse the flash drive for file storage. However, the problem is that it does not specify the required empty storage space that a computer requires to store and transfer the OS image into a flash drive.

en to yall saying it "broke my usb", pls learn how to use this before commenting, it didnt break, and if you want your usb back, there is an option in the app at the setting option called "erase recovery media", that makes your usb "not broken" if youd say.

en Works just that most of the idiots writing these reviews are kids that are trying to do it on their school computer, meaning that they are to stupid to do a few simple steps. Works VERY well, i actually am writing this from the chrom os flec operating system that i got on my pendrive using this extension. Super simple. Plus it still works. Quoc Bao Nguyen, yes thats one way of doing it but i recommend you just use the preset options it gives you, choose chrome os flex it works wonderfully! The way to get to there wold be clicking the text right under that first text box that appears. Hope that this was hopefull. Adios!, Avoir, Chao, Bye, Jaane!

en Completes download successfully, then creates 20 partitions on my USB and asks to format each on secretly while not having any files relating to the flash in any partition post and pre formatting.
