en Hard-coding hotkeys (rather than letting the user specify their own) is lazy, user hostile, and poor development practice. Hard-coding a hotkey to the same as an existing frequently-used function (Ctrl+M = mute audio) is sheer idiocy, and results in this extension not working at all on my browser because the hotkey just mutes audio instead.

en Default Brave ctrl+m keybinding is to mute the current tab. brave://extensions/shortcuts Copy and paste the above address into your address bar and set the Hyde extension "hide/show controls" keybinding to whatever you like. If set to ctrl+m you will no longer have the ability to mute your current tab.
