en | Just excellent extension. Anno Niem wrote a review on August 3rd, 2023 saying that feature doesn't work, but that's probably because they had "Lazy loading restored tabs" enabled which interferes with this extension. I noticed huge lag spikes with lazy load enabled and this extention discarding tabs at startup, it was like Vivaldi tried to load all tabs and TGD'er discarding them simultaneously. With "Lazy Loading Restored Tabs" in Vivaldi this feature works almost as expected, although it doesn't correctly understand Vivaldi's tab stacks correctly meaning it does load some tabs. |

en | This is the way my dudes. Trust me. Been using this extension since it was just a github fork of the original Great Discarder with the life-changing "discard all tabs on startup" option added. Beyond stoked to see it now on the chrome web store. Just download it already! |

The key feature I wanted "Discard all tabs at startup" is not working for me. I'm on Vivaldi 6.1, started looking for an alternative to "Tab Suspender" as it made 6.1 crash. Sadly this one isn't it, too bad I like the simplicity of it. | |

It works. However, there are two other extensions with more features, or/and a different working mechanic what makes it possible to show a screenshot of the suspended tab without loading it (and waiting for it) again. | |
