Summary
Get access to all of your Google Drive™ files, such as Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and more in a popup or in a side panel next to a document. This way you can turn it into a note-taking app similar to OneNote, Evernote, or Notion.
Features • Star/share/trash/rename/move/upload/create files or folders as you would normally do in Google Drive. • Shared drives support. • Dark/light theme. • Search and sort the files. Search can be done globally or in a sub-folder and its children only; you can perform a filename or a full-text search. • Home panels remember the last opened folder. • Shortcuts to focus on the panels, search, create a new document, etc. • Opens documents offline, provided you have the “Google Docs Offline” extension installed. Any offline actions like changing the folder color will be scheduled to run when the connection is restored.
Known limitations • “Shared with me” files that were shared to anyone with a link and not by adding your email address aren’t removable. Please, vote for this feature request: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/111567460 • Turning links into chips or sharing directly in a document is not possible in the page mode (documents embedded alongside the panel.) Suggestions on how to fix it are very welcome. • “Google My Maps” maps are not embeddable and are opened in a new tab.
