Sometimes the text is too small to see, sometimes the text is so large, it leaves the bounds of the boxes and bubbles of the original text and covers the art and other text, overlapping... Sometimes text is skipped entirely if it's a stylized or "handwritten" type-face, the app won't recognize it as text, or it will misread it as different characters... Other than that, it works well enough... It's one of the few image translators that properly reads vertical text, which is more rare than I thout it would be... - Many image translators are advertised to read manga, so it's strange that they struggle to read vertical text since Japanese (especially manga) is often written vertically... But this app does a decent job where many others fail... - Over all, I like it, but the text not being contained makes a mess out of the page... There should be a minimum and maximum font size that is legible.... | |
