en | Edit: for some reason it's opening Gmail as a split tab, even in a brand new window. It also disables some basic Google Doc functions. I have to uninstall this, sadly. / Very nice! I have only started using it, so might give it five stars in the future. Other “split screen” extensions simply resize the tabs, which I have been doing myself manually so far and may as well continue when needed. Rather, this extension splits the screen similar to how some writing apps do: exactly what I was looking for. The only suggestion I might add would be to have a mini url bar at the top of each “screen” for easy copy/reference/editing, and a close/clear button for cancelling the current view. It works perfectly in Brave (Chrome) on updated Win 10. Really saves hassle/time when copy/pasting between online documents by keeping a “single tab” focus. |
