en | Honestly transformed my YouTube watching experience. Coupled with a 32" 2k monitor, although not exactly like an ambilight TV, it does look nice in its own way. The "Remove black bars" doesn't work the best, as it can remove some subtitles that are actually within the video, like another user commented below. I just decided not to use it so it's not a huge deal. One problem I've been having recently though is: I exclusively use the theater mode with the setting "Hide everything in theater mode" enabled. For the past couple weeks, the video title has been visible at the bottom part of the page. Seems like there's problems with spacing when scaling. I'm not sure if it's the resolution or the size/aspect ratio of the monitor but it's a bit annoying. Can eliminate it by right clicking the title, then inspect, and then increasing line height to 5rem but I'd have to do that in every single video. Any fixes for this? |

en | EDIT: nvm...found your github and saw you fixed it and will already release it in 2 days. I wish I could give 6 stars. still a five star extension but there is a bug now ! When I enable the option to "hide everything in theatre mode" the layout is completely off now. The top margin is squished while the title of the video is now visible in the much wider bottom margin (margins around the video). I've tested this on a fresh installation of chrome and incognito mode just to confirm it's not the browser or any other extension messing up. Unfortunately it's probably due to the current rollout of youtube's "new and improved UI" -.-'. Would be very grateful for a hot fix if possible, since I use this extension mostly in this mode! edit 2: Maybe consider renaming the extension or adding more search terms like "better youtube" or "declutter youtube" "cinematic youtube (?)" because only 7000 users for this extension is criminal. |

en | This is my second must have extension on a browser after adblock. Not only is the ambient light much better than youtubes, but it also completely declutters youtube when watching with "hide everything in theatre mode" enabled. I can never go back to normal youtube. This extension needs much more exposure! |

It was clashing with the BetterTwitchTV extension. Not sure how but I've disabled that one. Thanks for the help. I can't use YT without this extension on my OLED monitor. Edit: I spoke too soon. The issues have continued. I've disabled all my other extensions yet the issues persist. |

en | I use this to remove the ambient light feature. It does work. It does work so well that it removes dark parts of the video as well which often removes built in subtitles in the video as well.. |

en | Was confused as to why such an extension exists when YouTube has its own ambient light mode built in, but this is far superior to the default ambient mode. This really shows you the colors and much better detail can be seen. YouTubes built in mode is very dim and very blur by comparison. Good work! |
