Mosh (mobile shell) for Chrome

What is Mosh?
Mosh is a Chrome extension that brings the powerful functionalities of a mobile shell to the user-friendly Chrome browser. It provides a remote terminal session that remains unfazed by network issues such as latency, disconnections, and network changes. Ideal for Chrome OS users, Mosh keeps the session persistent even during standby mode. For functionality, Mosh needs to be installed on the user's remote server.

Summary

Install Mosh on your remote server (http://mosh.mit.edu) to use this app. Mosh for Chrome is especially useful for Chrome OS users.

Mosh provides a remote terminal session similar to ssh, but is tolerant of network issues such as latency, disconnections, and moving from one network to another. You can leave Mosh running all the time, even while your laptop is in standby, and expect your session to persist.

See the upstream Mosh project at http://mosh.mit.edu for more details.

I love mosh on linux. I was very excited to find this extension but sadly it does not work. I can not even launch it there is no way to attempt a connection whatsoever.

This doesn't work any more. "Old versions of Chrome apps won't open on Windows devices after December 2022." Is there an update?
