Unlike the other 2 spelunky games, the spelunker here is nearly the exact same size as one block, making it really hard to jump out of one tile corridors, and it can lead to a lot of deaths in the ice caves. The explosion effect also lasts way to long and makes ufo's the most annoying enemy in the game. (they don't even go left or right when jumped on, they just fall directly down!) The lack of saving also sucks, but it doesn't really bother me. Also if you throw a sticky bomb while holding a damsel it's probably gonna stick to the damsel and that really sucks. Also the snake pit, appears way too much, even when there's no "I hear snakes... I hate snakes!" prompt at the beginning, it still shows up most of the time, I mean free mattock, but it's still weird nonetheless . |
