I've noticed this on Windows mostly when one computer has Google chrome open, but is locked. I'll have to open the bookmark manager in chrome and manually move the merged bookmarks |

I have my bookmarks bars sets backed up as separate collections in 'Toby' which has been stable since I started using it ages ago. It is annoying because this is such a good idea. Maybe its a retirement project to develop one that works. So...when the you select a particular bar it creates the bar but empties the bookmark folder and rewrites to that folder when you choose another bookmark. Thus if you delete the app the bookmark bar stays with set in place but the folder for that bar is left empty. This sort of explains the behaviour of loosing data. |
