Georgify
Alternate CSS for Hacker News with a focus on typography and readability.
What is Georgify?
"Georgify" is a Chrome extension specifically designed to improve the readability of Hacker News. It does so by introducing an alternate CSS that utilizes the Georgia font and delicately applied typographic techniques to enhance legibility, presenting an optimized reading experience for users. It securely works over Https, and it's also compatible with secure Hacker News connections. The visually appealing layout significantly reduces whitespace, while also realigning comment points and source aligned to the left.

The typography is nice and clear but there is a bit too much white space between the entries for my taste.
Additionally, this app does not work when viewing HN through a secure connection. This is a deal breaker for me unfortunately.
It looks lovely, but there has been a longstanding bug (a year? two?) where *short comments* look like they are indented much more than they ought to be, which makes following threads really hard in many cases.
I uninstalled the extension because this eventually annoyed me to death. :-/
