| 2021-02-04 |  | | This extension visits Facebook every X seconds to check for new notifications/messages. Some time after adding it, I got a message on Facebook saying that there was suspicious activity on my account and I needed to change my password. I did so but then a few days later my account was disabled and they required me to give photo/video proof that I was human. After I got my account back this happened again in succession 3 or 4 times over about a month. I was extremely frustrated and worried I would lose my Facebook account and I didn't know what was happening. Then I finally remembered the extension and realized that that was it. As soon as I removed the extension my account stopped having issues. These extensions used to work fine but it seems that Facebook has changed their policies with them. I would strongly recommend against anyone using them now and I think they should be removed from the Chrome Web Store for user safety. | |
