2022-10-18	modulus		This is a really nice NTP extension. It not only gets rid of the incessant GOOGLE-IN-YOUR-FACE, but is customizeable to a high degree. Custom CSS lets you change icon background to transparent, and size of the icons can be set via the export/import function (adjust value of appIconSize in export pane, select all, copy and paste to import pane, and import). Kudos to the Dev .. this one is a keeper.
2022-06-30	petdono Pete.		this extension is great. dont really know how this is not higher in some of the basic search terms for this type of extension. this extension really gives google chrome alot less branding, and is simple to use. i cant rate this higher than 5 stars, but if i could it would be 10 stars out of 5. great for somebody looking for a fresh coat of paint to their browser.

2021-03-20	Noctuna		One of my stable extension, new tab looks much better, esp. with custom favicons. I like that you can use custom css code, favicons looks better with transparent background like this: .app { background-color: transparent; }

2021-01-28	Jason Chipkin		HOW TO ADD YOUR OWN BOOKMARKS 1. Open a NEW tab. 2. Click SETTINGS cog wheel in the bottom left. 3. Click EDIT SHORTCUTS in the middle. It will tell you to open a new tab page first............ BUT KEEP THIS PAGE OPEN. 4. Open a SECOND NEW tab page. 5. Again, Click SETTINGS cog wheel in the bottom left. 6. Again, Click EDIT SHORTCUTS in the middle. It should then let you edit the shortcuts in the middle of the new tab page. Hover over the bottom edge of the icons to delete or grab and rearrange. You can edit or add new URLs and also find an icon or just google a logo/icon and copy its image address and paste it there. Then, click the X to close the URL edit box and then CLICK SAVE button.

2018-04-30	nic scott		Won't let me add or remove links, so unless I'm looking to use facebook, youtube, or 9gag (!?? really?!) this thing is completely useless. Half the options radio buttons are invisible, the mouse cursor will change when you mouseover where they should be but you can't interact with them otherwise. Tried again with all my other extensions turned off, still had the same problem.
