2020-09-17 | SameMan6 | Flipgrid is a nice platform to share videos with your teacher to discuss topics, turn in work, and explain their reasoning. it is a well made and engaging program, especially in these times where online learning is the only option for many. Yet there is one glaring issue: you have to have a join code and use it every time and fill in your email every time. there is no way to create an account if you are a student, even though they have to put in their email. This makes mor work for everybody, as students have to ask for the code again when the forget it, and teachers have to go out of their way to provide it. if they just allowed students to have an account linked to their email that saves all their classes, that would work better.

2020-08-21 | Tompkins Studios | I absalutely HATE this extension, the backgrounds and grids aren't that great, and you need a join code, which is ridiculus. Secondly, there has been a lot of news spreading that Flipgrid hasn't been working properly. So I recomend you not get this extension because it is a rip off.

2020-04-14 | Mariya Ortiz | Flipgrid has been a great way to introduce the idea of flipped learning to some very old-school (and here you should read "tech terrified" teachers). Giving students the opportunity to explain their learning using their words is helping teachers realize where the gaps in student learning exist during the lesson cycle and not just wait for feedback in a summative way at the end of the unit. Teachers are loving how the lessons with Flipgrid engage their students, but even more, they feel like they have conquered "the technology" and not been defeated by it. |
