All that you think of as holy will be made a mockery without respite. This is a good time to do some soul-searching. How much are you going to be able to withstand? FDR's words echo in my mind, which I want so very much to be true that, "we have nothing to fear except fear itself." Without any hope of my own at the moment, I shall fill the lack with those words of FDR and I will cling to history and ask for the fortitude and integrity to do what is right, fair and just no matter what is going on around me and how difficult it may be to even want to have hope. And lastly I'll add that hope is a four-letter word. |
