You need a 365 subscription to have the "upload and view" option available to you. Also you will be double storing files if you use this extension by "upload and view" - both locally and then on onedrive. This extension can only open files on onedrive. So this extension is just an uploader to onedrive (which opens the file in the app straight away), a way to access recent onedrive files and a way to access web apps. The upload option is not available if you don't have a 365 subscription (e.g. personal account used with free web apps only). The google Office editing extension is much better for opening local files |
