| 2024-08-08 |  | | en | I really love this extension - it's simple, effective, and helps me stay on task and productive. I like that I have the option of toggling on or off the auto-loop for both breaks and focus times because it helps me be more mindful of when I choose to break versus continue working. I also like the popup option as it's more effective than just a chime (though I wish that the popup option were able to be toggled off as well). It's nice that I can see how many minutes are left, as well as a streak of how many pomo's I've completed, and the ability to easily adjust times makes it really nice. I like that because it's not trying to do everything like task-naming and website blocking, it's able to be really good at what it does do. I've found that apps that do website blocking aren't as effective if you have multiple chrome profiles bc they all need extensions and they don't block my apps, just websites. Lastly, I love just how cute the design is - that aspect drew me to check this out at first and it didn't disappoint! Overall, very pleased :) The only thing I wish it also had that others have mentioned is the ability to reset the pomodoro - it really bothers my perfectionism when it isn't able to be neat and clean at the end (though a trick I use is to just set the time to 1 minute and push it through until it's set. I wish that at the start, the pomodoro's would all look white rather than the first always being red, but oh well, that's just an aesthetic I prefer. |
