en | This extension works well IF you use it properly! A typical Patreon creator page will be in the form of a "feed" with multiple topic (image set) postings listed in the order they were uploaded. You CANNOT use this extension to download images from this point. What you need to do is click on the title link (the title text shown in a larger font just below the 3-panel sample image) for the single post you want to download. This will bring up a page that only has the post you selected: 3-panel image, title, descriptive text, and user comments. This is the "individual Patreon post page". It is from this page you can activate the extension and download the image set. When you have multiple sets from the same creator that you want to grab, I found that right-clicking the title link and opening up the individual posting page in another browser tab to be convenient. Select the tab with the individual post you just opened, activate the extension, then close the tab after the downloader extension has completed its work. If you use this approach it makes downloading multiple postings a bit easier, as you will not have to re-load and lose your place on the feed page, which will happen if you open an individual post in the same tab and then back-button back to the main feed page. |
