If your image DOES NOT OPEN in a new tab it is not because this "View background image" extension DOES NOT WORK! It is because you are trying to right-click and open an image that has an overlay on top of it. Most overlays are invisible and may link to some other website. This "View background image" extension works in the latest version of Chrome. Before "View background image" extension works you MUST CLOSE and re-OPEN Chrome! | |

| 2020-10-26 |  | | I've tried a few similar extensions, and so far this is the best one. The other extensions will in some cases open multiple background images from the page (each in a separate tab), whereas this one opens only the image I'm pointing to. As a bonus, this extension is TINY! |
