User reviews
Page Manipulator is valued for enabling users to customize and persist changes on web pages with an easier interface compared to alternatives like TamperMonkey. It has been reliable for long-term users, especially novices. However, many report usability issues due to an unintuitive UI, occasional failures on certain sites, synchronization problems across devices, crashes, and bugs causing loss of saved scripts. Despite these flaws, many users appreciate its core functionality and find it uniquely useful among similar extensions.
Pros
- Allows users to easily manipulate and edit web pages and have changes persist on reload.
- Offers functionality similar to TamperMonkey but with a simpler UI suited for novices.
- Works well for most users and supports saving custom scripts for web page modifications.
- Has been a reliable tool for several users over years until recent issues.
Cons
- User interface is unintuitive, confusing, and has small or unclear buttons making it hard to use.
- Some users encounter issues where the extension does not work on certain websites, including Facebook and sites that block scripts.
- Syncing problems occur where code saved on one device does not sync correctly to another.
- Extension sometimes crashes or becomes unresponsive, requiring multiple attempts to open it.
- Has bugs causing saved code to disappear or not be saved correctly, limiting code length in some cases.
Recent reviews
When I open it, the scrollbars dont even work and the text is halfway off the screen unreadable, no way to scroll left or right, buttons simply broken. Totally useless broken extension.

I've been using this extension for years. It has worked great most of the time. When it hasn't worked, it's simply because the site blocked the script (not an issue with the extension). Most of the bad reviews are due to user being too picky with the UI, user's skill issues or people not understanding that some sites block these kinds of scripts.
