2024-09-02 | Omar Adnan | en | About the "Close Timeout", keep this in mind: the extension asks you to enter a "close timeout" you must enter it in a specific format, which is the millisecond format. and make sure to know that ( 1 second ) equals ( 1000 milliseconds ). so if you want it to be a "3 seconds close timeout", you need to type ( 3000 ) in the 'close timeout' space.
2024-07-30 | Hermann Ibragimow | en | Great work! Does what it says. I finally could remove the Zoom Auto Close Extension and replace it with Tabs auto close, since it also handles notion and all other URLs.
2024-07-18 | Michael Daross | en | One of the few that actually works, and that lets you customize both the delay and the list of URLs. I added one for Notion, with this regex: https:\/\/(.)*\.notion.so\/(.)* Note that the delay is in milliseconds, so 3000 is 3 seconds. The UI could be a little more slick, but it's got the functionality I need!

2024-03-14 | Denys Avilov | en | For some reason, the extension doesn't work when first opening a page that has a matching rule. But when I refresh the page, it does get closed after the specified interval elapses. This bug essentially defeats the whole purpose of having this extension. My config: MacOS 14 (on MacbookPro M2), Chrome 122. I'm trying to close those zoom meeting pages (I've set up the rule as per the 2nd screenshot).
2024-02-14 | Dave Pascua | en | Mostly works as advertised. Bug: Regex "https:\/\/www.notion.so\/native\/(.)*deepLinkOpenNewTab=true(.)*" does not match "https://www.notion.so/native/January-2024-c36fd50e55?deepLinkOpenNewTab=true", but it should. Also, I had to restart MS Edge to get the extension working. Chrome did not require a restart. At the very least, maybe tell users to restart the browser after installing, if the extension isn't working. Last, should document that the timeout is in milliseconds. |
