Simply enter the Slack Member IDs of the users you want to block, choose to hide or delete their messages, and save your preferences. Hiding direct messages and channels or deleting messages everywhere, Slack Blocker customizes your Slack experience to suit your needs.

Slack Blocker is finally here!

Slack Blocker is a simple tool that will block and hide those unwanted messages in Slack to help you be more productive. All you have to do is enter the unique Slack Member ID -- using comma for multiple users -- save the changes and enjoy the quiet.

How to use it:

• After you have successfully installed it, you will see the icon of Slack Blocker next to the URL bar. If you click on it, a popup window will appear. Please, see the screenshots.

• In the popup window, you will see a text bar. Here is where you enter the Slack Member IDs. Slack Member IDs are in the form of C0K6F928Y, DFU7LHB8A. NOT HANDLES like @mcorey

You can get the User ID by following these steps: 1)Click on the user's/bot's name/photo from any channel 2) Select View Profile 3)The user/bot's profile will open on the right-hand side. 4) Click on the three dots for more actions.
