| 2024-10-30 |  | | en | At first the UI is better than Selenium IDE. Went for a login test that also looked fine. Then tried to check if a certain page was there by opening it and clicking on a button: Katalon Recorder randomly can't even open the page, resulting in a false negative. Then I tried a test that should fail by giving a wrong url: test passed anyway as it somehow managed to click on the button. So we got false negatives and positives, nice. Oh and I almost overlooked how slow is the whole testing. Back to Selenium IDE, which is way more reliable if you're either ready to fight its rather amateurish UI or prepared to improve it as it's open software. |
