The Open in Foxit™ Reader Chrome extension enables users to quickly open PDF links directly in the Foxit PDF Reader application. By integrating right-click context menu options and a browser action button, this extension enhances your workflow by sending PDF files to Foxit Reader without hassle.

Since Foxit Reader can't directly open remote PDFs, the extension downloads the file to your default directory before launching the reader. A small native client installation is required to enable communication between the browser and Foxit Reader, supporting Windows, Linux, and Mac. Customize the extension's settings on the options page to tailor how PDF links are handled. Please note this extension is an independent tool and requires Foxit Reader installed separately.
