2024-12-14 | D. Attridge | en | Raindrop has been with me through multiple computers and devices for 10 years. I can't say enough good things about it. I don't need pro, but buy it to help support the author. Better service and support then multimillion dollar sponsored apps.
2024-12-01 | sc0v0ne | en | This tool is amazing. I really liked it, especially since I can export my data in CSV format. Congratulations to the entire team, they created a great product. I wish there was a sharing option. Something similar to Medium, where I have a public profile and can share groups of links on the same subject. Another thing I wanted to be able to use PRO, but for me, as a Brazilian citizen, the price is too high to pay. If there were better alternatives, it would attract more attention from the public.

2024-11-16 | Brian Tully | en | I'm considering moving from Pinboard to Raindrop, so decided to try Raindrop out. The one thing I'm confused about is why the browser (Chrome) extension's icon doesn't change color to indicate that the page has already been bookmarked. It just shows as a white icon regardless if the page has already been bookmarked. Is that feature missing or is this a bug? Or is that a "premium-only" feature?
2024-11-15 | Apurv Verma | en | The highlights functionality is broken and nowhere close to alternative tools like Glasp. When I highlight something on a page, I want it to be visible and not immediately disappear. I hope the raindrop team can look into improving this.

2024-11-15 | Charles Magnuson | en | The pinned extension icon is a white cloud that looks nothing like the blue cloud that is Raindrop's logo. I have to hunt over and over for the Raindrop extension each time I need it because I keep forgetting that the extension uses a completely different cloud. That single problem ruins this extension. Please update this extension so the Raindrop logo is used!
2024-10-27 | Sardar Muhammad Usman Buttar (Sardar) | en | IMO its the best bookmarks manager with some extra perks, save images, highlighted articles, and tagging system. Superb!
2024-10-26 | Cyndi Dolloff | en | I was using Toby (until they decided to go to an absurdly priced paid model for the functionality it has) and looked at several other bookmark/tab manager options out there. Raindrop.io seemed like it had what I was looking for and was worth a try. I wish that I had found it sooner. It's sooooo much better than Toby and free! It works flawlessly in both the chrome browser extension on pc and the android app on both my phone and tablet (which is something Toby fails miserably at). In the chrome browser on pc, just click the extension and select a collection and it's saved (or you could use the sidebar and drag it into a collection). In the chrome browser on android, you just share the page with raindrop and select which collection to put it in. It syncs great. There is an option to select to open bookmarks in the chrome browser. No muss, no fuss. I have saved all my old bookmarks from Toby (over 2,800) into Raindrop and will look no further. I love the layout, the groups, collections and nested collections. It's so easy to find things by looking at the pictures in card view. The search also seems to work exceptionally well. I am very impressed by Raindrop. I will definitely continue using it daily. |
