Дмитрий Голик		 Во-первых, надо каждый раз жать кнопку, во-вторых, оно прячет с концами все файлы с расширением .gif, даже не анимированные, вместо того, чтобы оставлять первый кадр. А вот ежели у анимированного гифа не будет расширения .gif (что сплошь и рядом), то он останется в первозданном виде.

Sarah Tasko		 Saves my eyes!!! Omg it is a life saver! On pages on Tumblr where the person has set a gif as a huge photo on the sidebar and it is super distracting while trying to read a post this just eliminates the GIF entirely! Love it, unlike others which did not work at all!
2013-11-14 A Google user Great. To me, nearly all animated GIFs are just a nuisance, and this is the first GIF stopper that seems to work. I would have given it 5 stars if it had an option to freeze all animated GIFs automatically on page load, instead of having to click the button every time. It really would deserve 254 stars if it also had an option to freeze animated GIFs at the first frame, instead of completely hiding them.

oszkarsag		 Don't be confused: this is for turning of DISTRACTING gifs, when articles you want to read illustrate their subject with images moving around, and make it hard to read for you. It works simple as hell, adds an ON/OFF button, and when hide is ON, gifs get hidden, and you can turn them on again with a single click. Perfectly does its function, and cute icon :)
