Go to the account in question, add "?mx=1" to the end of the URL and change "x" to "twitter", and re-login if it asks you to. I tried this once and the chain blocking seems to be working again! - Please, I know maintenance is technically over but this extension was the only one that was working perfectly even when similar ones stopped over a year ago... until June 2024. Is it possible to change it so that it accepts "x.com" over twitter.com? I feel like it's specifically not recognizing that URL alone, it was working before Elon & friends changed something yet again this month... |
| 2024-06-16 |  | | en | Although officially this extension no longer works in X (formerly Twitter) it continues to do so at intervals (I don't know why). In my case, I test it daily and sometimes the blocks work correctly but only for a few days (I leave the PC on and do not logout from X as a precaution) and then there are whole days that does not work. Maybe it still works because I use the old version of Twitter (GoodTwitter 2)?. In any case, in the last few weeks this wonderful extension has saved my "life" from a bunch of stalkers whom I have been able to massively block on a platform, X, corrupted by bots, porn and stalkers since the arrival of Elon Musk. I strongly urge the developer of this extension not to remove it or, if necessary, improve it even if it doesn't always work because it is priceless. I would be willing to pay for it if it worked regularly and even if it didn't work every day. |
