2024-07-02 | Tay | en | I was testing several tab management tools to organise my workflow. Being familiar with tabextend, I decided to give tabOS a try. Boy ol boy, it blew my mind away so much so that I quit using Sidekick and Arc. that's how good it is. Highly recommended!
2024-05-21 | Pasquale Riefoli | en | This extensions has a lot of potential! Could I ask you a couple of features for the free version if possible? 1 - 3 desktops? (pretty please) 2 - filter and "group/add to a folder" pages coming from the same website (similar to google filters) e.g. I open a lof of pages from the same website but they always endup in several windows (eg. Amazon? Ebay? Github? etc) would be cool to find and filter pages in all tabs/windows -> Group them together 3 - (connected to the above) once all the pages are grouped (and to be honest even in the same window) would be cool to remove duplicated tabs. it happens multiple time that I have exactly the same page in multiple windows, so removing duplicates (or least identifying them) on pages that don't have active forms/replied open would be fantastic!
2024-02-04 | Hilman Cahyono | en | tabos is the best tool in my purchase. Compared to other applications, Tabos is something I always use because my work is connected to a web browser. thank you tabOS, organizing websites has become easier, my work has become more effective.
2024-01-28 | Shaun P | en | I wanted to love this extension. It seemed stable and robust, the layout is nice and and the concept is pretty slick, but the added value over what Chrome can already do is minimal (e.g. sidebar + tab grouping). The pricing is pretty high, likely due to the integrated AI, so it only make sense if you are replacing a ChatGPT Plus or CoPilot Pro subscription. The embedded ChatGPT widget is nicely done, but failed to generate a response when I tried a large prompt that worked on the official site. Moreover, a tabOS new tab can consume a lot of memory... a new tab with the ChatGPT widget consumed 1.2GB! I applaud the effort put into this extension, and I'm sure there are many who will love it. If you have not tried it, I see no reason not to, but overall it missed the mark for me.
2024-01-04 | John Gomeringer | en | I've been following along from the beginning with TabExtend, and it's been quite an interesting journey. This dev gets our needs and has a vision. I would imagine he's going to take this to the next level before too long. Looking forward to seeing that happen and what that looks like. Till then enjoying Tab Extend and TabOS. Seriously, try the free version. If you like it upgrade.
2024-01-02 | Farhan Harun | en | Transitioning from TabExtend to TabOS, I initially anticipated a simple upgrade. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that TabOS is much more than just an enhanced version of its predecessor. TabOS serves as a comprehensive "operating system" within the Chrome browser, offering an extensive range of features beyond mere bookmarking. The extension's versatility, user-friendly interface, and robust performance make it a worthwhile investment for those considering an upgrade from TabExtend to TabOS. I highly recommend exploring the multitude of tools and capabilities that TabOS has to offer.
2023-07-05 | sturmx96 | en | This extension is amazing. The most beautiful and easy to use tab manager so far. My only wish is to have at least an option not to open it in every new tab, I'd rather have the manager tab pinned and have my favourite links open in the new tab. The biggest downturn is the subscription model, I remember I had an email once about lifetime purchase for 59$ when it was in beta but I thought it was quite expensive for a tab manager extension, considering that more features packed Eagle app for designers costs twice less. Therefore I’m switching to Raindrop as you can create as many groups and collections as you wish, the only nuisance is that it doesn't suppport tab groups, since it's a bookmark manager rather than a tab manager. |
