That's not even an option in the context menu, so I honestly won't be using this extension very much tbh. - label each folder with a keyboard shortcut so I can extremely quickly select a folder. Key combination to open in tab group. This is currently just marginally faster than having the Brave setting on where the bookmark bar is shown just for the new tab. |

I primarily use it as a launching page for my bookmarks, but unlike most other extensions who show me what they want me to see, Favorites allows me to display exactly what I want in the size and layout that I want. Its your existing bookmarks, but instead of a tiny sliver, you get a nice full screen grid layout with icons imported automatically, also allows drag and drop. you can also right click settings > themes > choose any dark background for a night mode / dark theme, easier on the eyes. |

I suppose it's my own fault, but now all of my bookmarks are gone because--not understanding that editing the icons on the new tab page modifies my bookmarks--I selected everything on the new page and deleted them. I was sure I had a lot of other bookmark folders too, and now I seem not to. I do wish this were made a bit more obvious, but again, I guess it's my fault for jumping in before reading what it says on the tin. Edit: Upgraded to 4 stars because I learned how to restore my old bookmarks from the Bookmarks.bak file in C:/Users/[username]/AppData/Local/Google/Chrome/Default/, which was a relief. I do think the extension could use a more obvious warning about what's happening. |
