Besides issues surrounding anti-competitiveness and taking the browsing choices from users, AMP pages don't render everything correctly. I was reading an article on a major news site and noticed missing chunks of embedded twitter posts, and immediately checked to see that it was indeed an AMP link. Now, this may have been caused by AMP links not mixing well with Ad Block Plus, but I sure as hell am not uninstalling that. Downloading this extension let me see the all the content that was missing.
