Then I thought to search for an extension and found this one… whose feature list was literally my exact list of complaints.

2019-06-08	cwg			Love this extension, it solves annoying issues I've been having with HBO NOW on chrome, using the arrows to go forward and backward is amazing. However it would be absolutely perfect if it resolved an issue I'm having I don't know if anyone else is having as well, but when the player is in fullscreen, anytime I click anywhere it pauses the video, especially when I'm trying to turn on closed captions. I don't know if the developer could do anything about that, but nonetheless an amazing extension you should try.
