en | Update: The new update seems to have mostly fixed the previous problems. I am using this version on three different Chromebook models and it works well on all three the vast majority of times. There still seem to be some occasional problems but I haven't been able to pin down specifics and they seem to be rare. Overall I would say this is now a solid and reliable solution for smart card use on Chrome. Thanks to the developer for fixing the previous problems! Old review: I am downgrading my rating to one star because it just doesn't work on some devices and Google seems to be in denial about the problems. I own three Chromebooks, and on one of them, an Acer 15", it has to be reinstalled every time the computer is restarted. (It works on the other two.) It is not running in the background, and in fact after restart it won't run in the foreground either, which means it is impossible save the log files. The only solution is to reinstall the app every single time the Chromebook is restarted. |
