It doesn't, so if it seems like it's not working, it's most likely because you're not fully reloading the page rather just the videos on the homepage of you tube. Click the actual refresh button and it works like a charm. |

By clicking on the chrome extension in Youtube, you have the option to hide comments, hide videos, hide sidebars, etc which makes it very simple. It has all worked really well for me and looks very clean. Love it! |

The only problem is that if you toggle clean up sidebar, it also nukes the subscription feed that shows you the newest videos from your subscribed channels, meaning you have to check each channel directly to see anything. It would be nice if that was on a separate toggle, so I could get rid of the explore tab and home tab etc, without nuking subscriptions. |
