I have been able to create multiple keyboards for different kinds of assignment and aligned with specific rubrics that I will be able to use over and over again. Students have noticed and really appreciate the specificity. I get fewer questions about why students received a specific grade, and can instead ask them to reflect on what they can do differently next time to improve their outcome. |

Keyset for education has completely changed my relationship to giving feedback to my students, especially now that the majority of my courses are fully asynchronous online courses. That means most of my communication happens between my students and myself via messages and comments on their assignments. Not only has Keyset for Education allowed me to streamline and speed up the process of giving feedback and replying to emails by allowing me to save frequently used comments and toggle quickly between different assignments (sets of comments) via the chrome extension and search feature. It's also allowed me to give more personalized feedback across the board. The time I'm saving copy/ pasting comments from a document that I made as my own make-shift "comment bank" or retyping the same tips/ comments over and over, I'm now able to use by giving more nuanced feedback and links to resources on an as needed basis. On top of all that, Keyset has helped me streamline my feedback and comments to maintain focus on the key outcomes and skills that I'm assessing for each assignment. I use my rubric and past assignments to create the sets of comments before I start grading which helps me maintain my attention on the key learning areas/ outcomes as I'm reading student work. And it has a counter so I can see how students did on each assignment after I've reviewed them all. Saves time for me, allows the students to get better feedback and get it faster--don't hesitate on this one.
