en This uses the offline API from https://pdfcrowd.com/ to extract & convert the page to a PDF, using their free API; the saved documents will contain a very visible, watermarked label saying so. Very large documents will very likely timeout. PDF Crowd, however, provides its own official extension (both for Chromium-based viewers as well as for Mozilla) — you can get it from their own website (https://pdfcrowd.com/save-as-pdf-addon/) — and even have access to some configuration options. For more than these, you'll need to buy a license (it's cheap, a bit over $1/month) — such as for removing banners/watermarks etc. I have tested both extensions side-by-side. Both give identical results. The only difference between them is that, with *this* extension, you get an *additional* layer of developers allowed to see your webpages 🤣, since this extension will just grab everything in sight, scan for whatever important data it finds, profile you accordingly, and *then* send the page to PDF Crowd via their API... only to be scanned *again*, this time by the PDF Crowd team! There is no point in getting scanned/profiled *twice*, so this extension is pretty much useless. Worse, you cannot even add a license to it to unlock the extra goodies. As said, use the official extension, it is as good as this one, it takes the same time (but gives a bit more visual feedback), provides exactly the same results, but... it's one level shallower, so to speak, and *if* you consider to upgrade to get the licensed version, then you'll have to use the official version anyway...
