en | It's a nice app, but it's missing a few things that be regular Android app has. One thing I would like to see the extension be able to do is cast to my other devices as I can do with the FULL app. And there is no skip button, that's also super useful & available in the Android app too. WE would also like to see a true settings page for this extension, as I'm not sure if I'm actually getting the higher bit rate w/extension as I do on the website or within app. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the service. It's not as feature rich as other streaming services...(but thats okay, mostly pleased w/style of operation) Which brings me to 'MY' most important point...which would be the price. There are no varying plans to choose from!?(student pricing, but that's useless to 99% of us) I personally feel like $10 is A LOT per month for something that is so lacking in features that allow for personalization or creating customized playlist/s for that matter. But like I said before, I'm okay with this style of functionality as it fits my needs just right,(for the most part) But with that said, I think. the price point should be lowered a bit. Maybe in the future we could see a feature rich version with the 'high' price point and a 'mid level' price point for the slimmed down variant.(most other music streaming services hit the same price point, but come w/loads more features) I've been DI.FM listener(subscribing off & on as I can afford) for probably a decade or more by now, & not much has changed.(functionality wise) I really enjoy the LIVE SHOWS that pop up on the various stations throughout any given week. And occasionally new stations are added as time goes on,which has in turn grown my genres for listening...☻ I am a firm believer that "less is more".(in MOST but NOT ALL cases) Most ppl have just a couple of things they'd like to see here, & as you've read...I feel the same. It's a great service. & I'm not going anywhere. But with a few improvements here & there, a little more often... It'd go a long way in making this an EPIC - 5 Star Electronic Music Service!(not to mention, helping me stay a Permanent Subscriber ☻) |
