The purpose of this extension is to not only get your apps from one site, but to store your most critical information. According to the reviews on this page, it states that people are experiencing spyware and that crucial information is being stolen, such as, IP addresses, home location, and privacy of real life users being recorded. Not only it benefits them, but the school, too. From a theory of myself, I think Classlink is selling data and giving the information to the school the student goes to on a daily basis. So when downloading this extension, your normal device- computer, phone, tablet, etc.. . It is being turned into a school device where they can track your history, capture device information, and everything. This needs to be took down, or at least having this chaotic app not to be given critical information. Not only this harms the user, but the reputation on Classlink. |

I feel bad for the people who made ClassLink. They must have worked so hard to make ClassLink and the extensions! It makes using technology One click easier! And like Alex Castillo said, it "does nothing" because you never noticed! Best School extension ever. 10 out of 10! |

Hey guys, check out the other extension (ClassLink Analytics+). It only has 6 reviews, all one star, and its even worse. It literally has a file named "IP checker" in the extension files. Maybe we can get that one removed from the web store if we team up. I don't understand why yall think that this is so bad, sure it can see your browsing history, but that's it. Sometimes it doesn't work on my home pc, but it still works perfectly with logging into stuff. To all who say that it doesn't cause lag, I would like to tell you that that isn't the problem. We are concerned about our privacy. If you look in the privacy practices, you will see that ClassLink gains access to your passwords (which is understandable), but it also gains access to your IP address, GPS coordinates, and browser history. Personally, I do not understand how my location and browser history are useful to an SSO extension. While it does it's job well, these unnecessary privacy violations can lead many to believe that ClassLink is using this information maliciously. |
