Summary

In Chrome 51, Chrome's Classic Theme turned gray on Windows and Linux.

This theme brings back the blue colors from Chrome 50.

Unlike the other "Classic blue theme" extension in the Chrome Web Store, this extension does not change any other style, so you will get the modern classic theme - i.e. Chrome 50's Classic Theme.

Update (version 2): Use a subtle gradient instead of a single color to look identical to the default theme of Chrome 50 on Linux/Windows. Now the theme also works on macOS.

I do NOT KNOW why everyone says the theme is terrible because it broke. It looks fine in Edge 124.0.2478.80 May look the same in the latest build of chrome (don't use google chrome. use microsoft edge.) but the theme looks fantastic. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE WRITTING REVIEWS!

To all the people that think this theme is the reason the browser looks weird. Are you stupid? I mean, I'm sorry, but do you do absolutely ZERO research on a topic before you flame some random developer for not making a piece of software exactly 1:1 to how you imagined? Like seriously, Google reworked the way themes work, and almost all old themes are broken now. This theme still looks good in Supermium (Chromium fork, will support Manifest V2 past Google's support cutoff, I use it), as the developer decided to keep legacy code needed to render old themes, but mainstream Chrome completely got rid of it. Supermium also completely brought back trapezoidal tabs, and I think it looks beautiful with this theme enabled.
