Reddit Notifier is a Chrome extension that allows you to receive notifications for new replies and messages on Reddit. Developed by two RIT freshman, it automatically checks for new content and provides a preview, making it easier to stay engaged and reply quickly.

Good to know when you get new messages. When you click on the message notification they are not marked as read though, so that is an issue. Clicking on the notification links to the message with parent context. If marking it as read is not possible from clicking the notification, it would be an improvement if clicking the notification linked to your inbox so that you can mark it as read on the reddit inbox.

It's an OK extension but it doesn't clear notifications after you click on them. The issue was reported last year and still isn't fixed. It's too bad

Highly recommend for anybody who uses Reddit. It gives a little "pop" noise whenever you receive a notification, and takes you directly to the reply when you click on this. Very recommended, and high regards to the devs for creating something so awesome and convenient.
