2024-11-04 | Akira Vi | en | THIS BY FAR IS THE BEST LANGUAGE LEARNING APP IMO. You know how difficult it is to watch & read content you ACTUALLY like while learning? THIS DOES THAT. The way it automatically provides subtitles on japanese streams, anime, various platforms and even articles is Amazing. What i LOVE about this app is the simple "Hover" function where you can place your cursor on top of a japanese word and it automatically provides you a translation, and its dictionary form and even examples, it even auto pauses the vid and resumes after youre done hovering LIKE its crazy how easy it is to use. It also allows you to recap the words you learned, and even quiz you on it! I LOVE IT. I only wish that there's a mobile version EXACTLY like this extension. I tried the beta app on their website but its more of like a story mode game unlike the extension, I dont know if the developers are gonna make it like that but i SURE HOPE THEY DO. <3 PLS let there be a MOBILE version and let it be available on android! <3

2024-05-23 | Adeeb Mohammed | en | I love this extension, but unfortunately the developers don't seem to be interesting in fixing the long list of bugs. They are too busy with their upcoming app or whatever. Some annoying bugs: - The extension enables itself when you start a new video even when previously disabled - When there are no Japanese subtitles, the extension keeps opening the subtitle panel and freezing the video for the first minute - If you leave a video and go to the main page and start a new video, there will be two bird icons in the status bar. Every time you do this there is an extra icon. ...and a lot more. I'm going to have to give this one star until they fix these bugs.
