en Worst product on the market. Like most of the users, i cant connect it. Stay away from Keepkey and Shapeshift. They are the worst, and i hope that soon they will be out of the business. They deserve it

en I hope people are able to find these reviews before actually purchasing a device. I've gone through two devices because they just stop working. When you contact support they tell you to buy another device if they first one is not being recognized; how convenient for this company. This should be a class action lawsuit.

en Hardware great, software is the most frustrating, anxiety inducing mess you could imagine. Guaranteed not to work. Either it doesn't detect the device at all or hangs loading. I tried pairing the device to the beta shapeshift portal with KeepKey integration only to find that it wouldn't read any BTC assets. Put the recovery phrase into another wallet and all assets unsurprisingly show. It's a shame as the hardware is great but what use is that without reliable software. I'm over the stress and frustration. It's going in the bin.

en Keepkey does not work. He is stunned. I do not recommend it. I lost more than $ 200 dollars. Buying KK for cheap is expensive.

en WORST APP EVER FOR THE WORST PRODUCT EVER. This program works less than 25% of the time. The other 75%, the screen is stuck on "Loading account balance" and never proceeds. THIS IS THE SAME ACROSS 4 DIFFERENT COMPUTERS. **STAY AWAY**

en In terms of look and feel, I really like the device out of all the hardware wallets available out there; It has a premium feel, sleek simple design. KeepKey has a lot going for it. Unfortunately, a lot of its potential is wasted because this Chrome App hasn't received any meaningful updates in a long time. There's been loading problems on more than one occasion, limited altcoin support despite the device supporting it at the firmware level, lack of bug fixes etc. That's why I made a fork of this app here: https://github.com/greatwolf/KKClient. It addresses many of the issues and shortcomings of the app. This is basically me, a fellow user and customer doing their job for them. Of course, safety is a concern. Here's how you can verify my fork isn't doing anything malicious. - Download the repo .zip starting from release 6.4.01 first. - Run it through something like virustotal.com. - Extract the files. - Run each file through a javascript minifier and compare it with the corresponding files in the original app here. - This establishes the baseline that the files are in fact identical. - Now go through each commit and check that the changes aren't doing anything funny. Changes in my fork: - It no longer uses coinquery.com for querying transaction details. Instead it now uses trezor's blockbook api indexer which has much better reliability and uptime. This should fix any indefinite loading problems in the app. - Adds DigiByte and BitcoinSV support. Will add more altcoin support in the future as time and testing permits. - Various bug fixes and quality of life improvements. For example, fixing transition issue when getting a receive address right when the device PIN times out, and allow PIN input from keyboard instead of just mouse clicks. Re-enabled fiat value display in USD.
