Anytime you ask a question that the dev who programmed Gemini disagrees with and suddenly it can't help you with that. If you ask it to show you a picture of a celebrity smoking, and suddenly it assumes you have a major addiction issue, and will tell you so! Then it will recommend you seek out therapy. Ask it anything about politics and it either refuses to answer or gives a heavy left leaning answer. For example, Gemini is happy to write you 100's of words about why Biden is a great president, but tells you it can't comment on politics if you ask why Trump was a great president. Worse yet, if Gemini doesn't know the answer to something it will just start making up things apparently at random. It would be much more useful to have Gemini to simply state "I don't know enough about this to comment on it meaningfully," or something similar. Gemini still has a long way to go before it becomes the AI we are all waiting for. |
