I am using yahoo as my default search and homepage and this extension works well. I can definitely manage on my own but it's more easy to be assisted when searching for something.

As close as you can get to semi-approved spamware. Clicked through a installer to fast and didnt have the time to click deny on "install spam spam spam etc blah blah extension". Next step: Remove extension and reset all settings. Also, at least it appears to change your default search provider (but that might be the installer) which doesnt change back when you remove the extension.
